A porcelain lavatory bowl marked Midland

Stop 5

Where: E18 orange

What: Toilet humour

Material: Porcelain

Why: When St. Pancras Station in London was being refurbished to transform it into the Eurotunnel terminus, the long forgotten Railway Cafe on the east side was opened up, revealing this antique, and appropriately named, toilet bowl. It’s a lot cleaner now than it was when it was found!

Ref: RFB13994
