TICKETS OF THE MIDLAND RAILWAY
and CONSTITUENT COMPANIES

By David G Geldard

The Midland Railway Study Centre is delighted to be able to make available a series of free PDFs each of which has been prepared from an album in the David G Geldard Collection of British Pre-grouping Railway Tickets.

The objective of this part of the collection is to follow and describe the development of each category of ticket used by the Midland Railway, its constituent companies and its joint lines. It comprises 19 volumes grouped into two sections as shown below. Each volume copiously illustrates tickets relevant to its respective subject, accompanied by annotation based on extensive research undertaken over a 60 year period.

The linked files on this page are all downloadable on the basis of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International Licence.
