3F 0-6-0 No. 43758 on the Rowsley turntable [2 copies in same pocket]

A MR Johnson 2F 0-6-0 locomotive is seen carrying a Southend destination board on a passenger train which consists mostly of Clayton bogie arc roofed stock but the last carriage is an early Clayton clerestory.

This shows the southern end of York station looking eastwards over what became the first railway museum with a rebuilt Johnson 4-4-0No. 359 with an H boiler leaving with an up express of clerestory carriages. Also in view is a fine array of signals on two gantries plus a fogman's hut.
